Mary was an only child. She had always been conscious of her chance to be the only preocupation of her parents. She never used to be jealous about the other kids of her age because she thought they were the ones who were the most unlucky persons in the world. Indeed, she was treated like a little princess. In the suburbs of Paris, where she lives, she has always been called "Princess Mary" by the neighbours and the shopkeepers of the neighbourhood. Mary was having great time at home with her parents. They cared about their little girl and they wanted her to know that so they did all they could to give her everything she wanted and needed. She never lacked something. 

On this sunny day of June, she was playing in her garden with her dad. When her mother came to see them to announce them a big news, she had no idea her world was about to collapse.
